To Bonnie and your family. May you find comfort in each other and in your memories.

"Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die."

Grandma was a unique lady in so many ways. Knowing her enriched my life. She enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds outside her window. She enjoyed a good meal, good company, and good weather. She was an intelligent lady and, in her younger years, she enjoyed deep conversation and classical music. She had a rough life due to several circumstances, but in all that she experienced in life, I know she loved her family. A few days before she passed, we talked about the weather and Easter. I also told her that I loved her. May she rest in peace and may her family and friends know that she has gone on to a better place.
