We are pretty much snowed in as I just checked road conditions and the information received was that roads were not in good condition to travel. So we probably won't make it to Indianapolis.

It was a privilege to know Herb as a fellow Optimist. He will always be remembered for his service to youth. Please accept my deepest condolences--Tony L. Trimble, Past Governor, Indiana South District.

Herb and Maggie were very special people we came to know as we both served as Optimist Governor for our Districts (Indiana North and South). He worked very hard living up to our Creed and being a true "Friend of Youth."

Our love and prayers go out to your family. Lamar and Sandy are beloved friends of ours, and we especially share our hearts with them at this time of loss. May your father rest in the arms of the angels.
