Pamela Jean Barnes D'Amour, 51, lost her battle to cancer on June 27, 2010. Born November 5, 1958 in Hammond, IN, she is survived by her husband Peter, two sons, Alex and Ross, and daughter, Katie; Her parents, Wayne and Anna Barnes of Schererville, IN; three brothers, Dan (Joy) of Schererville, IN, David (Sonia) of Avon, IN, and Mike (Dawn) of St. John, IN.
Pamela graduated from Hammond High in 1976, received her BSN at University of Evansville in 1980 and MSN at IUPUI in 1983.
Pamela met Peter in 1984 and were married June 18, 1988. They moved to Charlotte, NC in 1989. Pamela started her family and elected to home school her 3 children. They returned to Indianapolis in 2006. She was a Master Gardener, and an active member of the Methodist Church. Her Memorial Service is July 17, 2010 at noon at St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Indianapolis, IN.
